When the Egyptian princess rescues Moses he is given to his mother to feed at first, but then is taken back to the palace to learn all the skills needed by a prince.

The Israelites increased in Egypt and a new Pharaoh, who did not know Joseph, forced them to become slaves hoping to reduce their number, but Moses did not die as Pharaoh had intended.

God meant for good all that happened to Joseph when his brothers tried to get rid of him by selling him as a slave into Egypt. As ruler in Egypt he welcomes his reconciled family to come live there for the remaining famine years.

The famine continues and Jacob finally allows Benjamin to go with his brothers to Egypt to purchase more grain.

God used pharaoh’s dream.to warn of what was to come and to saved His nation, Israel, who also experienced the famine.

Pharaoh had two troubling dreams and his butler remembered that Joseph had said to him that “God told him the meaning of dreams”, so Joseph was called from prison to tell Pharaoh what the dreams meant.

Joseph’s owner had a beautiful young wife who wanted to have relations with him, but Joseph refuses and runs away from her. He was accused by her and ended up in jail.
